November Month Bank Holiday List : After the festive season, people have started returning to their regular routines. As November is about to begin, it’s important to know that banks across the country will remain closed for 11 days this month. These include weekly holidays—Sundays, and the second and fourth Saturdays. If you’re planning to visit the bank for any important work, make sure to check the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) holiday list in advance to avoid any inconvenience.

According to RBI guidelines and state government announcements, several bank holidays in November are due to regional festivals. Some holidays will be observed nationwide, while others will be specific to certain states. Apart from these, all Sundays and the second and fourth Saturdays will also be holidays.

List of Bank Holidays in November 2025

1 November – Karnataka Rajyotsava / Igas-Bagwal
On November 1, banks will remain closed in Karnataka for Karnataka Rajyotsava, which marks the formation day of the state. On the same day, banks in Uttarakhand will remain closed for the Igas-Bagwal festival, celebrated 11 days after Diwali.

5 November – Guru Nanak Jayanti / Kartik Purnima
On November 5, banks in many states will remain closed to mark Guru Nanak Jayanti, Kartik Purnima, and Raas Purnima. Banks will remain closed in major cities including Delhi, Chandigarh, Mumbai, Jaipur, Lucknow, Kolkata, Bhopal, Ranchi, Dehradun, Jammu, and Hyderabad.

7 November – Wangala Festival (Meghalaya)
The Wangala Festival is a harvest festival celebrated by the Garo tribe in Meghalaya. Banks in Shillong will remain closed on this day.

8 November – Kanakadasa Jayanti
Banks in Karnataka will remain closed on November 8 to observe Kanakadasa Jayanti, celebrating the birth of poet, saint, and social reformer Kanakadasa. This day also coincides with the second Saturday, so banks across the country will remain closed.

11 November – Lhabab Duchen (Sikkim)
In Sikkim, banks will remain closed on 11 November for Lhabab Duchen, one of the most significant Buddhist festivals.

Weekly Bank Holidays in November 2025

In addition to the above, banks will remain closed on the following dates due to weekly offs:
2, 8, 9, 16, 22, 23, and 30 November.
